When you're discussing dessert
sandwiches (as one does), it's usually the cookie-and-ice cream or even
donut-and-ice cream varieties that get all the attention. Japanese fast-food
chain First Kitchen is looking to change that with a brand-new Kit Kat sandwich
that nestles the candy between two pieces of white bread.
Other fixings on this
revolutionary sammich include whipped cream and orange peel. The whole thing is
going for 220 yen (about $1.80), but this First Kitchen original is only around
for a limited time. Advance word on Twitter calls it "better than
expected," so don't be surprised if Panera tests a 3 Musketeers on
focaccia next.
Kristin Hunt is a Food/Drink
staff writer for Thrillist, and could probably be persuaded to eat a Kit Kat
sandwich.
